The key point

Taking Bitcoin is not the same as accepting UK players: none of these casinos is licensed to serve Great Britain, and their Bitcoin rules differ, from replace-by-fee bans to withdrawal minimums 30 times the deposit minimum.

01 / The short answer

Which Curaçao casinos accept Bitcoin? The short answer

Bitcoin is standard at the casinos we review. In the terms and pages we captured in September and October 2026, every one of the 12 except Betmac names Bitcoin, and Betmac lists cryptocurrencies without naming a coin. Rolletto, Velobet, Zizobet, Cosmobet, Goldenbet and Freshbet, all Curaçao-licensed, list BTC as an account currency, so a balance can be held in BTC.

Taking Bitcoin is not the same as accepting UK players. None of the 12 holds the Gambling Commission licence a casino needs to serve Great Britain; Freshbet and Slotosport exclude UK residents in their terms, and Rolletto, Velobet, Cosmobet, Goldenbet and Freshbet restricted our UK visits in October 2026.

The Bitcoin differences are in the detail. Winbeast, Winplace and Legionbet ban replace-by-fee payments and can close an account that sends one. Bitcoin Cash sits next to Bitcoin in several casinos’ currency lists. And at Winplace and Legionbet the smallest Bitcoin withdrawal is 30 times the smallest deposit.

Bitcoin at the 12 casinos we review

The table sets out what each casino publishes about Bitcoin, from the terms, payment pages, cashier data and blogs captured for our reviews in September and October 2026. Blog figures are the casinos’ own advertising; the terms set their general processing allowance. We made no Bitcoin payments.

A three-day processing allowance does not rule out a faster payout, but it means the blogs’ times are not guaranteed. The Curaçao licence certificates of these casinos displayed Active when we checked in October 2026, while the CGA register listed the Santeda and Sefiarray licences as under assessment. Our guide to Curaçao crypto casinos compares the other coins these casinos take, and our page on Ethereum Curaçao casinos sets out the same terms for ether, and our page on Tether Curaçao casinos does so for USDT.

03 / UK readers

Bitcoin casinos, the UK and a Curaçao licence

Three separate questions get mixed up here. The first is the licence: any business offering online gambling to people in Great Britain needs a licence from the Gambling Commission, wherever it is based and whatever payment it takes, and a Curaçao licence is not one. Northern Ireland has its own gambling law, and a Curaçao licence does not show compliance with it either. Our page on Curaçao casinos accepting UK players sets out what each casino showed a UK visitor.

The second is money-laundering checks. The Commission’s guidance on digital currencies notes that their anonymity can attract people who want to hide their identity or the source of their funds, so a Bitcoin deposit is no reason to expect lighter checks.

The third is what protects the payment itself. A Bitcoin transfer has no card-style chargeback and can be refunded only by the person who received it. The Financial Conduct Authority says most crypto-related activities are not regulated in the UK, so buyers generally have no access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and are not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

04 / Replace-by-fee

Replace-by-fee: the Bitcoin rule that can cost an account

Under the opt-in policy described in BIP 125, a sender can mark a Bitcoin payment as replaceable, so that until it is confirmed it can be replaced by a version paying a higher fee. That helps when a payment is stuck, but it means the recipient cannot treat the payment as settled; BIP 125 notes that recipients may choose not to treat it as payment until it has been confirmed.

Three casinos we review go further. Winbeast’s terms prohibit replaceable Bitcoin payments and say accounts using them may be closed. Winplace’s terms, and both Legionbet’s casino terms and its sportsbook rules, let them close such accounts immediately and withhold any winnings. A payment can also be replaceable without your choosing it: BIP 125 lets a payment inherit the signal from an earlier one that is still waiting for confirmation. If you already have an account at one of these casinos, find out how your wallet handles replace-by-fee, and remember that the casino decides how it applies its clause.

05 / Network and fees

Bitcoin Cash, confirmations and fees

Bitcoin Cash is a separate coin on its own network. Rolletto, Velobet, Zizobet, Cosmobet, Goldenbet and Freshbet list both BTC and BCH as account currencies, and Wildies’ cashier data lists them separately. A coin sent to the other network’s address may be rejected by the wallet or may become inaccessible, and recovery depends on the receiving service; it is never guaranteed. Wildies’ cashier data lists Bitcoin on its own network only, and none of the casino pages we read mentions the Lightning Network.

Each confirmation makes a Bitcoin payment harder to reverse. Bitcoin.org says a payment usually receives its first confirmation within about 10 to 60 minutes, but there is no guaranteed delay, and a fee below what the network is prioritising can make the wait much longer. None of the casino pages we captured states how many confirmations it waits for before crediting a deposit.

Fees come in three kinds. The network fee is paid by the sender and depends on how busy the network is; some wallets take it out of the amount sent, which can leave a deposit below the casino’s minimum. Casino charges are separate: Rolletto, Velobet, Zizobet, Cosmobet and Freshbet reserve the right to charge processing costs if you withdraw before betting three times your last deposit, and Winplace and Legionbet have the same rule and require each deposit to be wagered once before it can be withdrawn, whatever their payments page says about free withdrawals. Selling Bitcoin for pounds through an exchange then adds its own rate and fees.

06 / Your balance

BTC minimums and Bitcoin balances

At casinos with a BTC account currency, your casino balance is counted in BTC, so its value in pounds moves with the price. Winbeast, Winplace and Legionbet offer no exchange between crypto and ordinary currency, so a BTC balance stays in BTC until it is withdrawn. Winbeast quotes its bonus limits in BTC too: its bonus terms set a 0.00024 BTC minimum deposit for a welcome stage, cap each stage’s bonus at 0.012 BTC and cap free-spin winnings at 0.0010 BTC.

Small minimums can still trap money. At Winplace and Legionbet a 0.0001 BTC deposit is allowed but a withdrawal needs 0.003 BTC, so a small balance can sit below the payout threshold; our Winplace review sets out its other payment limits. Winbeast’s terms also say deposit limits cannot be applied to crypto deposits made through its payment processor, CoinsPaid, so a limit you set may not cover Bitcoin. Keep a record of what you deposit in pounds as well as in BTC.

07 / Conditions

Payout routes, crypto bonuses and identity checks

Payout routes. Rolletto and Cosmobet pay back to the deposit method unless they agree another case by case after verification, and Freshbet pays back to the same method. Wildies does not let money deposited in crypto leave another way, and Slotosport will not pay out in ordinary currency after a crypto deposit, or the reverse. Our withdrawal terms guide explains the casino’s side of a payout, which a fast blockchain does not shorten.

Crypto bonuses. Freshbet offers 150% up to €500 when a new player’s first deposit is in crypto, from €30, with 40 times the deposit plus the bonus to wager within 30 days, a €5 maximum bet and slots and mini games only. Velobet’s blog advertises a 160% crypto welcome match from a €20 deposit, with 35 times wagering for crypto, while its promotions page sets the first crypto deposit at 10 to 1,000 €/$; Wildies advertises 200% up to €2,000 on a first crypto deposit; and Winplace offers a 5% bonus on each crypto deposit with a code, subject to its general 40 times wagering on bonuses. Betmac excludes crypto deposits from its welcome offer. Our guide to bonus conditions explains how these rules interact.

Identity checks. A Bitcoin payment does not show who owns the wallet or where the money came from, so casinos can still ask for identity and source-of-funds evidence before paying out; our account verification guide explains the usual checks. The terms of the five Santeda casinos and Freshbet also cover wallets shared between players: Goldenbet’s, for example, let it close every account involved, cancel their winnings and bonuses, deduct 20% from deposits returned to a valid personal account and seize the deposits if no such account is supplied within seven days. Never share your private keys or recovery phrase; support does not need them to find a public transaction.

08 / Our assessment

Our assessment: Curaçao Bitcoin casinos

Finding a Curaçao casino that takes Bitcoin is easy; the differences are in the terms. Anyone weighing Bitcoin casinos with a Curaçao licence from the UK should start from the fact that none of these sites is licensed to serve Great Britain. Beyond that, the specific risks are clear: replace-by-fee clauses that can close an account at Winbeast, Winplace and Legionbet, a withdrawal minimum 30 times the deposit minimum at Winplace and Legionbet, deposit limits that may not cover crypto at Winbeast, blog payout times that the terms do not guarantee, and shared-wallet clauses that allow deductions and forfeiture at the Santeda casinos and Freshbet.

If you already use one of these casinos, check the coin and the network in its current deposit instruction, the minimum withdrawal, the payout route and its charges, and keep the transaction ID. If gambling is becoming hard to control, our responsible gambling page lists help, and the National Gambling Helpline, run by GamCare, offers free and confidential support.

How we checked this page

We read the terms, payment pages, cashier data, bonus terms and blogs of the 12 casinos we review as captured for our reviews in September and October 2026, and checked Betmac’s homepage again in October 2026; Wildies’ Bitcoin figures come from the cashier data in its site’s code, and the Winplace and Legionbet minimums from their September payment pages. We made no Bitcoin payments. The Bitcoin points come from Bitcoin.org and BIP 125, and the UK points from the Gambling Commission’s licensing and digital-currency guidance and the Financial Conduct Authority.

Frequently asked questions

Which Curaçao casinos accept Bitcoin?

Rolletto, Velobet, Zizobet, Cosmobet, Goldenbet and Freshbet, all Curaçao-licensed, list BTC as an account currency, and Betmac lists cryptocurrencies without naming a coin. Wildies, licensed in Anjouan, and Slotosport, Winbeast, Winplace and Legionbet, which name no regulator, also take Bitcoin.

Can UK players use Curaçao Bitcoin casinos?

None of these casinos holds the Gambling Commission licence needed to serve players in Great Britain, and paying in Bitcoin does not change that. Freshbet and Slotosport exclude UK residents in their terms, and five of the Curaçao-licensed casinos restricted our UK visits in October 2026.

What are the Bitcoin minimums?

Winbeast sets 0.0001 BTC for deposits and withdrawals. Winplace and Legionbet allow 0.0001 BTC deposits but need 0.003 BTC to withdraw. The Santeda casinos and Freshbet set minimum deposits of €10 or €20 or the equivalent, and Wildies’ cashier data shows 0.0001 BTC without saying which way it applies.

Why do some casinos ban replace-by-fee payments?

A replaceable payment can be swapped for a higher-fee version before it is confirmed, so the casino cannot treat it as settled. Winbeast, Winplace and Legionbet ban such payments and can close the account that sends one.

How long does a Bitcoin deposit take to arrive?

It depends on the network and the casino. Bitcoin.org puts the first confirmation usually within about 10 to 60 minutes, with no guarantee, and none of the casino pages we captured says how many confirmations it waits for.

Who pays the Bitcoin network fee?

The sender pays it, and some wallets take it out of the amount sent. Casino processing charges are separate: several of these casinos can charge them if you withdraw before betting three times your last deposit.

Can I deposit Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin?

Only where the casino lists Bitcoin Cash, and only to the Bitcoin Cash address it gives you. Bitcoin Cash is a separate coin, and a payment sent to the wrong network’s address may be lost.

Are Bitcoin withdrawals instant at Curaçao casinos?

Not guaranteed. The terms of Rolletto, Velobet, Zizobet and Cosmobet allow three banking days for processing, whatever their blogs advertise, and Winbeast allows up to 24 hours; the network then adds its own confirmation time.

Do Bitcoin casinos skip identity checks?

No. A Bitcoin payment does not prove who you are or where the money came from, so casinos can still ask for identity and source-of-funds evidence before paying out.
