Licence-holder profile

Dama N.V. casinos

A Curaçao company in the licence register and in the history of several online casinos: its company record, ownership evidence and casino links, including brands whose newer terms name another operator.

The key point

Dama has a documented Curaçao licence entry. King Billy, PlayAmo, Playfina and Spirit Casino all name other operators in their current terms; their Dama links come from older documents and Spirit’s About page. These findings do not establish a current Dama casino portfolio.

The company number is the most useful starting point when comparing documents. A casino can keep its trading name while changing the business responsible for accounts. Match the legal name and registration number before assuming that an old Dama reference still describes the operator.

The issue date above belongs to this licence entry. It is not Dama’s incorporation date or a casino launch date. The CGA describes its register as an overview rather than a guarantee of present validity; the recorded company permission also needs to be distinguished from the certificate for an individual website.

02 / Casino connections

Dama N.V. casinos: what the documents show

King Billy, PlayAmo, Playfina and Spirit Casino all have documented Dama references, yet all four name other operators in the terms we read in October 2026. Their Dama links come from older terms and pages; of the pages we read, only Spirit’s About page still names Dama. These rows explain the associations rather than present a current Dama casino ranking.

  • King Billy

    kingbillycasino.com
    Current terms name Novatrix SRL

Terms dated September 2023 name Dama and its subsidiary Friolion Limited. Terms updated in January 2026 name Novatrix SRL, the Costa Rican company also named in Playfina’s terms, and a Tobique licence. The 2023 document covers the earlier operating period.

  • PlayAmo

    playamo.com
Current terms name Saphirix Solutions SRL

Terms dated May 2026 identify the Costa Rican company and a Tobique licence. Its app information page switched from Dama to the same company during October 2026.

  • Playfina

    playfina.com
    Current terms name Novatrix SRL

The June 2025 PDF names Dama. Terms updated February 2026 identify Novatrix SRL and a Tobique licence. The older PDF remains relevant to the earlier operating period.

  • Spirit Casino

    spiritcasino.com
Current terms name Stable Tech N.V.

Terms updated September 2025 identify Stable Tech and licence OGL/2024/161/0191. The About page retains a Dama description despite naming Stable Tech in its footer.

The regulator warnings discussed below also identify Dama as a provider of Vegas Now, Rooster Bet, Fortune Play and Lucky Dreams at the dates of those investigations. Those findings add documented connections, but do not certify present ownership or provide a complete list of websites operating under Dama’s licence.

Spirit shows why an operator list can become misleading: its About page still describes Dama, while its terms name Stable Tech. A promotional page may retain an older company name after the terms have changed. For an account question, read the dated contract and any transfer notice together; a new company name alone does not explain who assumed an earlier balance or complaint.

Our casino review library examines individual brands separately. Our page on Curaçao gaming licence holders lists the companies behind the 12 casinos we review; Dama runs none of them. A licence-holder connection is one part of that assessment; payment conditions, account controls and territory restrictions still belong to the particular service.

03 / Company and ownership

Who is Dama N.V., and who owns it?

Dama N.V. is the Curaçao company registered under number 152125. The same identity appears in its CGA entry and historical casino terms. Its role in those terms is the legal operator behind a brand, rather than the name of a game studio or a payment method.

Ownership and corporate relationships

Dama’s current ultimate beneficial owners are not established by the documents available here. Two other relationships are documented: King Billy’s September 2023 terms describe Friolion Limited, Cyprus registration HE 419102, as a wholly owned subsidiary; the July 2024 court judgment identifies Allyant Group B.V. as the trust office managing Dama.

The January 2026 Lucky Dreams warning also addresses Allyant as Dama’s statutory director. Management, a subsidiary relationship and ultimate ownership are different things. Friolion sits below Dama in the historical disclosure, while Allyant’s stated role concerns management. Neither record identifies the people who ultimately own the company.

Was Dama N.V. declared bankrupt in 2024?

Yes, but the order was overturned. Dama was declared bankrupt in June 2024. The appeal judgment of July 2024, ECLI:NL:OGHACMB:2024:174, describes player-loss claims involving national gambling-licensing requirements, including Austrian judgments.

The appeal court considered settlements and financial evidence and concluded that Dama had not ceased paying. It overturned the bankruptcy order and rejected the petition. Reporting the original order without that outcome gives an incomplete account of the case.

The judgment answers what happened in that appeal. It does not establish Dama’s finances today or decide another player’s entitlement to repayment. A customer pursuing an older claim still needs the relevant contract, transaction history and an assessment of the law applying to that dispute.

04 / Curaçao gaming licence

Dama N.V.’s Curaçao gaming licence and regulatory record

Licence category and domain coverage

Dama’s October 2026 CGA entry records a B2C licence with an indefinite term. B2C identifies the consumer-facing category; indefinite describes the recorded term, not an exemption from continuing supervision or possible later regulatory action.

A complete current domain portfolio has not been established. To assess a particular casino, match its exact website address, legal company and licence reference to the appropriate certificate. The casino licence-check guide explains those fields. An old Dama mention cannot validate a service whose applicable terms identify a different business.

Licensing history and significant changes

How Dama’s recorded licence details changed
Document dateWhat the record says
September 2023King Billy’s terms describe an Antillephone arrangement, reference 8048/JAZ2020-013.
December 2025The CGA register lists OGL/2023/174/0082 for a period running from June to December 2025.
October 2026The CGA lists the same reference with an issue date of December 2025, an indefinite term and no expiry date.

An older expiry date can therefore appear in searches even though a later register records a different term. These are dated licensing records; they do not pinpoint when a casino changed operator.

Australian regulatory warnings

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has issued formal warnings to Dama under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. The following are selected recent findings, shown by the date on each notice rather than its later publication date.

  1. Australia

    Vegas Now and Rooster Bet

The ACMA identified Dama as a provider of both services and found prohibited and unlicensed regulated interactive gambling offered to people physically in Australia. The warning covered casino games and betting services, including in-play betting.

  2. Australia

    Fortune Play

A further warning found Dama had provided prohibited and unlicensed regulated interactive gambling through Fortune Play to customers in Australia. It concerned casino-style games and betting, including in-play services.

  3. Australia

    Lucky Dreams

This warning concerned unlicensed regulated interactive gambling. The ACMA identified Dama as a provider and found betting services supplied to customers physically in Australia without the required Australian state or territory licence.

These notices document repeated problems with access to a national market. They are formal warnings, not fines or orders revoking Dama’s Curaçao licence. They also do not decide individual withdrawal claims. The relevant lesson is that a company can appear in the CGA register and still face regulatory action for serving customers elsewhere without the required permission.

05 / UK availability

Can UK residents use casinos connected with Dama?

None of the four brands above accepts UK residents under its current terms: King Billy, PlayAmo, Playfina and Spirit Casino all include the United Kingdom in their restricted-country lists.

A search of the UKGC’s downloadable business, domain, trading-name and licence registers in October 2026 found no matching entry for Dama, the four brands or the companies now named in their terms. Remote casino gambling offered to customers in Great Britain requires the appropriate permission from the Gambling Commission. A Curaçao licence does not supply that permission.

Northern Ireland has a different legal framework and falls outside the Commission’s ordinary gambling-licensing remit. That distinction does not override a casino’s UK-wide contractual restriction. Our article on Curaçao licensing and the UKGC explains the jurisdictions and the protections attached to each regime.

An accessible homepage, GBP display or successful registration answers a different question from licensing. None establishes that the operator has permission to serve Great Britain or that its terms accept your location.

06 / Payments and account rules

Payments, bonuses and account rules

There is no single supported set of payment or bonus conditions for every casino associated with Dama. The changed operator disclosures make that especially important: a familiar brand name does not make its present terms Dama’s terms.

King Billy’s current bonuses and withdrawal limits

King Billy’s promotions page in October 2026 advertised a welcome pack of €3,000 plus 450 free spins, or a VIP welcome pack of 450% up to €10,000 plus 750 free spins. Its FAQ spreads the standard pack over four deposits: a 100% first-deposit match up to €500 from a €10 minimum, a 50% match up to €500 and two 75% matches up to €1,000 each. The free spins in that breakdown add up to 450, although the same answer’s headline says 300. Regular offers included a Wednesday 20% bonus up to €200, daily free spins and Thursday cashback.

The general bonus terms, last updated in February 2025, set 30× wagering unless an offer says otherwise, a €5 maximum bet while wagering and a 30-day expiry; slots count in full, while live, table and video-poker games count 5%. Weekly cashback rises with VIP status from 3%, wagered 3×, to 13% with no wagering, is capped at €3,000 and needs at least €200 in deposits and €200 in net losses during the week. Under the January 2026 terms, withdrawals start at €40, or €300 by bank transfer, and are capped at €2,000 per transaction, €4,000 a day, €15,000 a week and €30,000 a month.

These are Novatrix SRL’s conditions rather than Dama’s, and King Billy lists the United Kingdom as a restricted country. We read the pages over a Finnish connection; amounts were shown in euros and dollars, and other countries’ versions may differ.

A historical payment example: Playfina

Playfina’s June 2025 Dama document gives €20 minimum deposits and withdrawals, with payment-method qualifications. Ordinary withdrawal caps were €2,000 per day, €5,000 per week and €20,000 per month. Promotion terms and VIP arrangements could alter the limits, while progressive jackpots were subject to full payment.

For example, an ordinary €12,000 withdrawable balance would need at least three weekly allowances under that €5,000 cap. That calculation is not a promise of payment within three weeks: daily limits, the weekly reset, verification and transfer time also affect the schedule. These figures describe the historical Playfina contract, not a current Dama-wide payout policy.

For an older transaction, keep the applicable terms and distinguish a requested withdrawal from an approved or sent payment. Our withdrawal terms guide explains those stages. If support quotes a limit, ask which document version and account rule it is applying.

Balances, bonuses and verification after an operator change

Keep any account-transfer notice alongside the original offer conditions. Ask the service to identify the company responsible for the balance, whether an existing bonus continues and which withdrawal conditions apply. The company name in today’s footer alone cannot answer all three questions.

No transferable Dama-wide bonus entitlement has been established. Compare the wagering basis, expiry and maximum stake in the offer accepted on the account; the bonus conditions guide explains how those details change an offer’s practical value.

A shared operator name also does not establish shared identity checks across brands. If fresh documents are requested, use the verified account channel and ask what remains outstanding. Our casino account verification guide explains the usual document categories and how to distinguish a verification hold from a payment-processing delay.

07 / Account controls

Responsible gambling and account controls

Playfina’s June 2025 terms stated that deposit limits could not be applied to cryptocurrency deposits. That is a significant limitation in a particular historical policy, not a universal technical rule about cryptocurrency or proof of today’s controls at other brands.

A Dama-wide self-exclusion arrangement has not been established. If you have requested exclusion, ask for written confirmation of the accounts covered and how it is handled after any operator change. Routine account closure and self-exclusion may produce different restrictions, so the wording matters.

An operator directory should not be used to find a replacement account after exclusion. Our responsible gambling page explains support options and ways to restrict access to gambling.

08 / Complaints and disputes

Complaints and dispute resolution

Start with the casino involved and identify the company named in the terms relevant to the disputed event. If the operator has changed, request written confirmation of who handles the earlier account or transaction. Avoid assuming that a new footer transfers every old obligation to the successor.

  • Identify the casino domain, account reference, dates, amount and currency.
  • Keep the applicable terms, transaction records and support correspondence together.
  • Explain the disputed action and the outcome you are requesting.
  • Ask for a complaint reference, written decision and the applicable escalation route.

Playfina’s June 2025 document promised acknowledgement within 24 hours. Acknowledgement is confirmation that a complaint was received; it is not a deadline for repayment or resolution. Its general escalation wording did not establish a named independent dispute service covering all Dama casinos.

Independent dispute resolution depends on the operator and case being covered. For example, eCOGRA provides alternative dispute resolution, but its involvement with Dama has not been established here. Check the applicable service’s remit before submitting a case; naming an ADR provider does not make it responsible for every casino complaint.

Regulatory reports and repayment disputes

The CGA says it can use complaints to inform supervision, but it does not adjudicate individual player disputes, mediate claims or order compensation. A report about possible regulatory misconduct and a claim for repayment therefore have different purposes.

Follow the procedure attached to the relevant contract and operator. An old Dama mention can otherwise direct a complaint to the wrong company or regulator. Where a legal claim is being considered, the terms, payment history and applicable jurisdiction need individual assessment.

09 / Our assessment

Are Dama N.V. casinos safe? Our assessment

Dama has a documented company identity and CGA licence entry. Those are useful facts, but they are insufficient for a blanket safety recommendation. The Australian warnings show repeated regulatory findings about market access, and several familiar brand associations conflict with newer operator disclosures.

The 2024 bankruptcy case also needs its complete outcome: the order was overturned. Treating Dama as currently bankrupt on that basis would be as misleading as treating the appeal outcome as a present-day guarantee of financial strength.

For a UK reader, the practical answer is to establish the exact contracting company, territory rules and licensing position first. For an existing account, preserve the dated terms and any transfer notice. This profile helps trace those responsibilities; its casino connections should not be read as recommendations or proof of current payment performance.

Frequently asked questions

What is Dama N.V.?

Dama N.V. is a Curaçao gambling company with registration number 152125. It appears in the CGA licensing register, casino contracts and overseas regulatory notices. The legal company is distinct from the trading names of its casinos.

Which casinos are connected with Dama N.V.?

King Billy, PlayAmo, Playfina and Spirit Casino have Dama references in older terms or on other pages, but all four name other operators in their current terms. ACMA warnings also identify Vegas Now, Rooster Bet, Fortune Play and Lucky Dreams at the dates investigated. This is not a verified current portfolio.

What bonuses does King Billy offer?

In October 2026 King Billy advertised a welcome pack of €3,000 plus 450 free spins over four deposits, with 30× wagering unless an offer says otherwise, and weekly cashback of up to 13%. Its current terms name Novatrix SRL rather than Dama, and they restrict the United Kingdom.

Who owns Dama N.V.?

Its current ultimate beneficial owners are not established here. Historical terms identify Friolion Limited as a subsidiary, while court and regulatory documents describe Allyant Group’s management role. Those relationships do not identify ultimate ownership.

What is Dama’s Curaçao licence number?

The CGA register published in October 2026 lists OGL/2023/174/0082 as a B2C licence with an indefinite term. The company entry does not independently validate every website associated with Dama.

Can Dama casinos accept UK players?

Dama holds a Curaçao licence, not a UK one, and a Curaçao licence does not authorise remote casino gambling in Great Britain. King Billy, PlayAmo, Playfina and Spirit Casino all restrict the United Kingdom in their terms; Northern Ireland has a separate legal framework.

Is Dama N.V. bankrupt?

The bankruptcy order made in June 2024 was overturned on appeal in July 2024, and the petition was rejected. That historical judgment does not establish Dama’s financial position today.
