If management does not resolve a dispute, the terms point to “any independent body, gaming authority or the licensing regulator listed on the Website” without naming one, and court proceedings must be brought in Curaçao. Under Article 5.3 of Curaçao’s National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK), which the certificate cites, a player can complain to the licence holder free of charge within six months of an incident, longer than the terms allow.

Article 5.3 also requires written acknowledgement within one week and a reasoned decision, or a reason for refusing to handle the complaint, within four weeks. It permits one written extension of four weeks and requires access to alternative dispute resolution at the operator’s expense. Goldenbet’s terms refer to an independent body or regulator without naming an adjudicator. In practice, complain in writing within two months of the issue, keep the reference and dates, and ask which independent service will review the case if the internal answer does not settle it.

Its public instructions ask customers to contact support for a time-out and allow early reopening at the casino’s discretion following a written request.
